I found a flat! Nice new build apartment in West Bridgford, and I managed to get signed on the dotted line as well! Moving in next Tuesday. Surprise surprise, when I go for an agency-owned property, all those employment problems melt away. When they're just collecting a fee, they don't give a shit. When they could be collecting rent on a property standing empty, they're suddenly very keen to move quickly. Bastards. I hope I won't have anything to do with an estate agent for a long time after this.

Also, they released a preliminary WSOP 09 schedule this week. Now I know it's definitely going on in June I booked my flights. 30th May-30th June. Conspicuously these dates exclude the Main Event. This is so if I run really bad for the whole series I don't get tempted to blow $10k on a single tourn trying to get it back. If I win a load of money and feel I can afford the ME I can always change my flights. Here's the schedule I'll be playing (in an ideal world where I can get an adequate bankroll together in time):
