Last night after posting the blog I ate a banana (the fruit*, not the 2+2 kind) and went to bed shortly afterwards. I had a weird dream where I was playing live poker at a square table like the ones we had at poker soc. The only player I remember was Tom Wells, 3 to my left, and he was heavily pregnant. I raised 3 hands in a row from early position and the table got angry and told me to start playing properly or I'd have to leave. I assured them that I'd been getting cards and that I had a real UTG raising hand this time. I looked down and my hand was a black plastic container filled with small bananas. Whilst I was puzzling over whether this meant that I had 5 of a kind preflop, I woke up. Weird.
Today I played 1833 hands of $1/$2NL on iPoker, 917 in the afternoon session and 916 (completely by coincidence) just now. I lost $180 this afternoon and won $520 this evening, but was roughly +$100 in all in EV in both sessions. I was pretty comfortably 6-tabling so I managed to get through the hands in about 4 hours total, which is encouraging. However, none of these hands count towards my volume target as they are below $2/$4NL, so I'm keen to move up soon. I have learnt a lot in these sessions at $1/$2 though, it's amazing the amount of stuff I'd forgotten and how rusty I was. I'm gonna have to remember this and not quit the game for so long again in the future.
Will probably blog again tomorrow seeing as the xbox just broke (red circle of death, anyone know what I should do about this? I bought it roughly 18 months ago from GAME but don't still have the receipt, am I just screwed?) and Nathan is in Brum for the weekend.

Nice dream Keys! The red ring of death is a total slag and I am 99.9% sure that you will have to fork out for another!
wrap the xbox up in towels / duvet etc. and turn it on, let it heat up and get very warm for about 25 mins. then try to play a game and you will be surprised to find the circle of death is gone.
Do a google search for the site "Dream Moods" and have a look what the different aspects of your dreams mean.
They can often be interpreted into manifistations of things in your personal life.
do the towel thing, it really does work! [i did it to my bro's xbox and it worked much to our amazement!] Just remember its not a permanent solution as the problem (from my internet searchings) is due to a bad solder/connection in the xbox which when it gets really hot seems to right itself for a while... This means you will probably have to do it a couple of times a week or so...
pretty funny about tom being pregnant too, hahaha
