6am-9am

I've started this post early in case I think of anything to write. When my alarm went off at 5:45 it took me quite some time to work out who and where I was, or why. Got it together in time to take over though and am currently at 4 tables of $1/2 6max holdem and a $1r PLO tourn. I also won a $10 stt already. I'm running like God on fire at the minute, I just runner-runnered the same guy twice in big big pots. I'm getting all that run-bad back with interest.

8am Update: I continue to outdraw everyone that I don't cooler, I almost have $900 on one table and that omaha tournament is still going strong. Actually I've just left that table, took the money and ran. It's pretty sick, I was on 5 tables, with stacks of 250 400 500 700 and 800, I just want this session to end before anything bad happens (touch wood). I watching the clock like my life depends on it.

8.30am Update: Spoke too soon, just lost a $570 pot with a set vs an up+down, all in on the flop :(.

8.45am Update: I've been flopping sets like it's going out of fashion in the last 15 mins. Probably 5 or 6 times, minor payoff on all of them, including one where I flopped set over set but it was unfortunately on a monotone flop where the turn and river completed every straight possible so I only won a few pennies. It doesn't look like this omaha tournament is gonna finish in time, there are still 15 players left as I write this so I guess I'm just gonna have to hope my sitting-out carcass can hang on till the top 5 and that sweet $7 payday. Goddam it, how slow is time today?? This session is literally taking forever.

8.50am Update: OK I'm basically last in chips in this omaha tournament so I'm gonna push (well, potpotpottrebletreble) the next few hands. Barring any last minute disasters, this is shaping up to be a very nice winning session. Now I'm just worried that this challenge is gonna have me blow all the money I've made in these early sessions playing tired and maybe tilted later on. We'll see.

Anyway, let's wrap this up. I was mainly 5 tabling and managed 1055 hands and $1496.19 profit (wow, I didn't think it was that much), not including whatever I win in the PLO tourn obviously. Time to hand over to Nath, if you're reading this or Nath's blog, do leave a comment, turns out this is actually a pretty lonely endeavour as we don't get time to talk to each other.

Hands: 4068
Profit: $2705.31
PFR: 18.9%

I'm readin as well. The results are impressive so far! Hope you can keep it going. I read about the Boku87 challenge and know what you mean. German efficiency! But that's a skill that comes from the genes and is therefore dificult to develop for a non german! :-)
