Bad Morning

Guess I was a bit too smug in my last post, as karma or variance has come back to bite me in the ass this morning. I must have stopped my alarm in my sleep because Nathan had to come and wake me up for my shift. No problem though, I was at a table by 9.05, rubbing my eyes and trying to figure out what was going on. First hand I post the bb, get dealt KK and end up losing my stack when the small blind flops 2 pair in a battle of the blinds. Moments later on another table I lose TT vs AA for a buyin, and on a third I flop straight under straight for yet another. Within 30 mins I was down $1k or so, but I think I've managed to claw some of that back. I don't think much of it was down to bad play on my part, just variance I think. The fact I managed to play through it in my state is encouraging at least.
