A trip to the comedy club

Not much to report in this post you'll be glad to hear. My flatmate Nathan and I spent most of yesterday trying to think of something to do that isn't snooker or drinking. We found it unbelievably difficult but eventually came up with the idea of going to a comedy club, and it turns out there is a Jongleurs in Nottingham and they have a show on a Thursday night. Apart from the compere using the same jokes as in his one youtube video from 3 years ago, the stand-up was really good, and the 3rd act was weirdly brilliant and something totally different to anything we'd ever seen elsewhere. It was great to broaden our horizons a bit for once. However we did end up going out drinking afterwards.

Nath's away for the weekend so I might cane it at the tables again over the next few days. I'll be playing $1/$2 for the near future unless I go on some sick winning run, I just really don't want to redeposit at the minute, it's a pride thing I guess.
