March Review

March was a good month overall for me. I made progress on a lot of fronts, the big one being my turning round a big losing streak online and discovering my inner grinder with the 48hr challenge. Finishing out of the money AGAIN in London (this was the 3rd time I'd made day 2 in a London GUKPT without cashing, and the 4th time overall) was a minor setback compared and I'm looking forward to grinding really hard online for the next couple of months. Possibly I might take it a bit easier than I might otherwise for the next 2 weeks in the run up to the BlackBelt Poker grading in case I suffer from burnout before the end of it. It would be nice to mop up the bet with Paul before the start though. I also made a little bet with Andreas that I could acheive better than 10bb/100 at 6max cash over the course of the grading, over which time I ought to play roughly 40,000 hands so it won't be easy. Speaking of side bets, I have so far recieved zero love for winning my costume prop bet with Mick McCool. Doesn't nobody have a single suggestion for his fancy dress in Manchester (which he claims he won't be playing because he has conveniently given up tournaments)?

At the minute I'm in Devon for that cookery course which is why this review post is missing exact figures for profits and number of hands etc, they'll have to wait till my next post. Also I guess something about my recent DTD and UKSPC exploits might be in order, although I can't remember much from Birmingham so that might not be too interesting. Anyway this course starts in approximately 5hrs so I probably ought to get some sleep.

Inabit.
